What is Survey Club?
Survey Club is exactly what the name suggests – yet another online survey site. This type of site is absolutely everywhere online and for the most part, surveys tend to be a pretty poor way of earning money. Nevertheless, some of the sites are better than others.
So, in this Survey Club review, we’re going to look at how Survey Club stacks up and exactly what you can expect from it.
To start off with, the site looks fairly professional and seems to have less hype than most similar sites.
One other thing that I noticed right from the beginning is that the site can’t make up its mind about whether it is offering surveys or studies.
Honestly, I think the term studies here is just getting thrown around because it sounds better than surveys. Now, you may possibly get to access some things like focus groups and mystery shopping work but, honestly, most of what the site offers is going to be surveys.
Now, when you sign up for the site, you’re met with this screen:
This is where the site gets interesting.
There are actually some surveys on the list. However, many of the items in the list aren’t surveys at all. They’re not studies either. Instead, they’re links to other survey panels.
This is an incredibly manipulative approach because you probably don’t want to be signing up for dozens of survey sites. After all, each site has its own points or currency system, where you have to get to a certain point before you can even cash out.
For the most part, being on multiple sites just means a lot more work and complication. So, most of the list you’re presented with aren’t actually surveys.
When I was writing this Survey Club review, I was given a list of 33 ‘studies’. Of these, only 4 were actually surveys. All of the rest were other survey sites. That’s an appalling ratio and means you’d get hardly any surveys.
For all of the 4 surveys that were available, I either got screened out or the survey was actually closed.
Not particularly encouraging.
From these issues alone, it’s clear that you would rarely get surveys from the site and there’s a decent chance that you’ll get screened out of any that you do get.
One other thing is that the site doesn’t have any form of counter for credit or points that you’ve earned. Likewise, there doesn’t appear to be any mechanism for cashing out. This also suggests that your chances of making money and actually getting it are fairly slim.
Benefits and Advantages
The only real benefit that I found with this Survey Club review is that you don’t have to be in the United States to join. Many survey sites do restrict themselves to United States members, so the extra option is nice.
Still, if you’re not in the United States, the number of surveys available to you is going to be considerably lower. As the site doesn’t offer that many surveys anyway, it may be worth skipping it.
Issues with Survey Club
The biggest issue with Survey Club is the lack of surveys. The site has a much greater focus on getting you to sign up for other survey sites than it does on actually offering you surveys.
Now, you may get more over time via email and through the site itself. But, even so, you’re not likely to get many. Typically, surveys don’t pay much anyway, so getting fewer surveys means that the process of making money could potentially take a very long time.
In fact, time versus income is the underlying issue with any survey site.
Even when a site does offer you a decent number of surveys, you still find that you aren’t earning much for the time you put in. Plus, it can often take weeks or months to get enough surveys to even cash out once.
For the most part, this means that surveys work okay if you want a little pocket money and don’t mind waiting. But, they are completely unrealistic as a way to make money.
Can You Make Money with Survey Club?
In theory, you can make money and cash out with Survey Club. However, the lack of Survey Club reviews online suggests that most people have never gotten to that point.
Realistically, it could take weeks to even get a single survey that you could actually complete.
That suggests that you’ll never have much success with making money.
Personally, I think that survey sites are a waste of time from start to finish, regardless of which one you pick. But, if you really do want to do surveys, then I recommend picking a better company.
While all survey companies are limited in their surveys and the amount you earn, some are better than others. So far, one of the best that I’ve come across is Swagbucks. But, even with that site, it can still take a considerable amount of time to earn money.
My Personal Survey Club Review
Not only does Survey Club suffer the limitations of every other survey site out there, it is also a pretty horrible example of a survey site. Simply put, it’s not even worth signing up for this site.
If you’re seriously looking into the idea of making money online, then survey sites are never going to be the answer, regardless of which site you end up with. Instead, you want something that has growth potential and puts you in charge.
After all, if you’re going to make money, you don’t want to be sitting around waiting for someone else to do their thing.
There are many different ways to start an online business but in most cases, you’re going to want a website. Creating a good website that can actually make money isn’t nearly as difficult as you might expect.
I recommend checking out a site called Wealthy Affiliate to help you get started. This training site is specifically targeted at beginners and it offers you all the information that you could want for building your own website and making money from it.
