The golden rule in building an authority site is to care for your audience.
This means that you have to know them.

Because of this, you need to provide them with relevant content that isn’t full of sales pitches.
Instead, the majority of your content should be focused on meeting needs and providing information.

How many pages you need for an authority site is really up to you – and this will probably depend on how broad your topic is.
Overall, authority sites are something that is worth getting into and focusing on, because they have substantial potential to earn money in the long-term.
