Please take the time to read this whole post to see the affiliate disclaimers and earnings disclaimers for this site. The page contains legal text that is necessary for me to protect myself. At the same time, I also talk about the way this site works and why it is set up this way.
I make an affiliate commission off some of the products reviewed and discussed on Don’t Get Rich Quick. This means that some of the links to products are affiliate links. With those links, I earn a small commission from any purchases you make. However, that does not influence the cost to you in any way.
At the same time, I do also talk about and highlight products that I have no affiliate connection to.
One of my main aims with this site is to provide a valuable resource for people in all stages of internet marketing – and where possible I try to find free tools that I can promote. After all, we all want to save money when we can.
I want to make one thing clear though.
My affiliate connection to products in no way influences my reviews or what I promote.
There are far too many scam sites out there already, and I don’t want to be another one.
Instead, I focus on providing accurate and researched information about products out there (the good and the bad), and also about internet marketing in general.
I’m also very careful about the products I promote. I only promote products that I have personally used and that I have been impressed with. Many of these products I continue to actively use and consider essential to my websites. Other times I might promote products that aren’t suitable for my own use, but might be relevant for you.
After all, sites vary in their needs and some products will work well for some people but not for others.
I know it’s easy to write me off as another scammer because I earn a commission from some of the products I promote. But honestly, that’s a bit of a naive viewpoint.
Building a website, keeping it updated and writing content is a time-consuming task that also costs money. To keep this site live and up-to-date, I need to be earning some money from it.
Finally, it’s important to note that there is a lot of free information available on this site.
I heavily promote Wealthy Affiliate, along with some other products, but you don’t have to sign up for anything at all if you don’t want to.
Instead, you are more than welcome to learn from the many training posts that I have on this site, and to ask me questions through the comments if you are unsure about anything.
Why Wealthy Affiliate?
Just from glancing through this site it should be pretty clear that Wealthy Affiliate is the main product that I promote.
The main reason for this is that I have learned so much from the site and it really does work.
Wealthy Affiliate was the place that I got my start in internet marketing, and it taught me the fundamentals of the field got me going.
Wealthy Affiliate works so well because it is community-based. This means that there is a lot of interaction between members, and there are lots of people on there that you can ask for help. At the same time, the community approach means that content on Wealthy Affiliate keep pace with how quickly the online environment changes.
The site does have a free and a paid membership.
The paid membership is fantastic value for money, and you get so much information for less than $1 per day. That’s a great deal, and it’s something that you can’t find elsewhere.
Most other training sites tend to provide stagnant information and offer little to no feedback about how you are doing. That sucks, because being a beginner in any field is hard, and being able to discuss your progress with others is an important part of being successful.
At the end of the day, Wealthy Affiliate is a good choice for beginners in affiliate marketing (or even internet marketing in general). It also has a lot of resources for those who are more experienced, and it certainly is worth checking out.
And yes… as I mentioned before, I do get a commission if you sign up for the site.
But, I wouldn’t promote Wealthy Affiliate if I didn’t think it was worth the cost.
In fact, I continue to use Wealthy Affiliate myself and I love the wealth of information that it offers.
Throughout this site, I have focused on accurately representing products and their potential. However, I am not making any claims about income that you may earn or success that you may achieve.
Whenever income figures are given they are anecdotal information from myself or fellow marketers in the field. The information is in no way an indication of how much money you may earn.
I also do not seek to verify the income claims made by others, as this is impossible in many cases.
Please do not interpret any such information as an indication of average or potential earnings.
Please also be aware that past performance does not offer any guarantee of future success.
Information provided in this website will sometimes contain information that is based on forward-looking perspectives. This information gives my personal perspectives and expectations on future events, but there is no guarantee.
Such statements will use words like ‘plan’, ‘estimate’, ‘believe’ and other words of similar meaning and implication.
Any forward-looking statements that I make are based on my own perspectives and opinion, and should not be taken as accurate and factual – as reality often ends up differing considerably from our estimates.
Internet marketing is a varied industry, and there are no average earnings. Indeed, people vary dramatically in their levels of success and many people are not successful at all.
Being successful in the field is based on a range of factors, including your own skills, your experience, your dedication, your niche and the time that you put in. I cannot guarantee that you will be successful regardless of the work you put in – and this is true in such endeavor.
Please take the time to seek advice and learn about the field before you invest time or money into it, to see whether the approach is suitable for you.
As with any potential money-making endeavor, there are risks involved with making money online through internet marketing and affiliate marketing. These risks can be financial in nature, although other risks may also be present. Such risks may not be suitable for everyone, so please take the time to make sure this field is right for you before getting involved.
As discussed previously, I maintain an affiliate relationship with some of the products and companies that I review on this site. Because of this, some of the product links that you will see on this site will be affiliate links.
When you purchase a product through one of these links I will receive a credit or commission from the company. These commissions are the key way that I am able to afford to maintain this site in the long-term. If I didn’t take this approach, I would not be able to maintain the site or provide you with accurate and researched information about the field.
That commission will not affect the price you pay in any way, and your costs would be the same as if you purchased from a non-affiliate link.
I also focus on being accurate and fair in all reviews, regardless of the presence (or absence) of an affiliate relationship with the company.
Please take the time to make good decisions about any product discussed on this site – and only purchase those that you can afford and that meet your needs.
You can get in contact with me through the comments sections and through email if you have any questions about anything in this disclaimer, or about any of the products that I promote.
